Doctor Who - The Stolen Earth

Oh My word.
That was amazing.
A story that involves EVERYTHING, and is yet amazing.
Admittingly the effects were a little poor at points (those bits with the planets) but you cant expect everything on a TV budget.
I surpose the big question is - what are the daleks doing with the humans?
The look on the Doctors face as he ran towards Rose (who was speaking normally) was lovely and the shock of his extermination I can imagine will led to a few nightmares tonight! That whole moment was almost something something tragic, such joy followed by such shock.
Such a fantastic finale. Featuring Torchwood fighting for their lives, Sarah Jane Smith about to die, and the Doctor…regenerating!!!!! Anne’s very worried we’re about to say good bye to David Tennent?
Flat stuff
Been doing a fair bit of flat work over the last few days. The idea is to spend a fair bit of time down there over the next month. Expect to see pictures starting to spring up to track the progress!

Doctor Who - Turn Left
“She told me to warn…two words she said”
“What two words…what were they…what did she say?”
“Bad Wolf”
A weirdly dark story for lead Doctor Who writer Russell T Davies, who is almost trying to finish his time with the series with his best writing. It asks the simple question, What if Donna wasn’t there with the Doctor during the events of The Runaway Bride? It turns out he stays for to long attacking the spiders and ends up dead in the flooded base.
The main bulk of the episode deals with the dark world of a World without the Doctor, giving an idea of what life would be like if the Titanic Spaceship crashed into London (destroying London and making much of South England unlivable), along with other assorted alien encounters. To add to the darkness of the whole episode, Martha is said to die giving up her oxygen for another medical student, Captain Jack and Torchwood die destroying the Sontarons, while the death of Sarah Jane Smith is a shock to the system.
The addition of Rose is a little odd, I expect she’s there as more of a hint to long term viewers about how bad the situation really is. I hope she sorts her voice out soon…
Special mention needs to be paid to the revelation of “Bad Wolf”. I never would have guessed those two words would have been said, the combination of “Bad Wolf”, a rather red looking Tardis, and THAT next trailor - the season finale is looking fantastic!
Also just to really make a fans head explode - the 30 second tv trailer features Davros…
